April R Stringfield Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Stringfield, April Sue Reid, age 65, of Shelby, passed in the early morning hours of Friday, November 26, 2021. April was able to pass in her home, as she wished, with her husband and two daughters by her side. The graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 29, 2021 at Spring Creek Cemetery with Bro. Rodger Hamaker and Pastor Matthew Britt officiating. Bolton Funeral Home is directing. April was preceded in death by her son: Aaron Lee Reid Stringfield, whom she’s missed greatly for the past twenty four years; parents: James and Margery Reid, and brother-in-law: Burke Warhurst. She is survived by her husband: Gary Stringfield; daughters: Autumn Knight and Winter Lamon; sons-in-law: Wesley Knight and Cory Lamon; grandchildren: Summer Knight Brooks (Sean), Baylee Knight, Andrew Knight, Bristol Lamon, Asa Lamon, Brynlee Lamon, Aaron Lamon, Kelsie Knight and Codi Knight; siblings: Jimmy Reid (Susan), Suzie Warren (Howard), Lynne Warhurst, Brenda LaFone (Tom), Sally Bradshaw; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. The family would like to especially thank April’s nephew, Michael Reid (Britney) and niece, Kelly Warhurst for helping to provide care for April while she was at home. The family is also extremely grateful for the other family members who spent countless hours at the Stringfield residence not only providing care and support for April, but for her immediate family as well.
