Weldon, Betty Ann, age 92, of Tarrant, passed away on June 12, 2022. A visitation will be held on Friday June 17, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Bolton Funeral Home. The service will follow at 2:00 PM. She will be buried at Spring Creek Cemetery. Reverend Richard Horton is officiating and Bolton Funeral Home is directing. Betty enjoyed her family most of all, along with her flowers, and helping others more than herself. You never left her home without her gratefulness for you coming, her wanting to feed you, and her telling you she loved you. Betty is preceded in death by her father: James M. Carden; her mother: Ida Lee Atchison Carden; her husband: Horace Lee Weldon; her daughter: Patricia Ann Weldon; her brother: James Milton Carden (Mary); her sister: Nobie Irene Krebs (Bub); her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Perry Edwards, Houston Weldon, Margaret Horton, and James and Betty Weldon. Betty is survived by her son: Stephen L. Weldon (Bobbie); her grandchildren: Joshua T. Weldon (Lindsay), Whitney W. Mosley (Beau), Tyler Weldon (Dori), Taylor W. Elders (Ryan), Sydney W. Wilbanks (Tyler); 12 great-grandchildren; her sisters-in-law: Wilma Edwards and Janice Weldon; her brother-in-law: Billy Horton; many nieces and nephews; and extended family.
