Mrs. Poe is preceded in death by her husband: Carl Jerry Poe; sister: Barbara Willis; parents: Samuel Horton and Hattie Horton. She is survived by her sons: Jason Poe (Shelby), and Jeremy Poe; grandchildren: Timothy Patterson, Joshua Bevels, and Haley Ruiz Hope; sister: Sarah Taylor (William); brother: Sammy Horton (Marie).
