Peoples, Phyllis Ann “NeNe”, age 87, of Tuscaloosa, passed away March 15, 2019. The graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at Bay Springs Cemetery. Bolton Funeral Home is directing. Our mom and Nene is in Heaven today. She was the smartest, the strongest, and the toughest lady. For everything she gave us we are thankful. Thank you for serving us, for cheering us, for crying with us, listening to us, and loving us all so intentionally. She was the best mom and Nene. We love you and miss you. Phyllis is preceded in death by her husband: Billy L. Peoples; first husband: Curtis L. Moore; parents: Fantus Standiford and Fern B. Tomten; and grandson: Darryl W. Moore. She is survived by her son: Bradley A. Moore (Janet); daughters: Kimberly M. Kukla (Keith) and Connie F. Estes (John); grandchildren: Gregory B. Moore, Kristin J. Logan (Todd), Charles Allen Jay (Lauren), Anne Elizabeth Barbe (Adam), Tina Kukla (Danny), Bob Kukla (Stacy), Jennifer Gould (Jason), Tara C. Anders (Scott), and Bradley S. Hodges (Karla); and 9 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or your favorite charity.
